How to Delete Media (Everwell Admin)

How to delete media from Everwell portal (Yantrasign)

  1. Find the Media File in the Media pool (e.g., A004.mp4)
  2. Check the Associations. (Media > Manage > Associations).
  3. Note if the file is any EVERWELL playlists.
  4. For any Everwell Playlist the file is in, go to that playlist and delete the entry.
  5. Save the playlist.
  6. Check the Associations again.
  7. Note if there are any associated Players belonging to Clients. Client Players have the format "S-XXX-YYY" (S-189-001, S-314-021, etc.) XXX is the client ID number (189, 223, 343, etc.) YYY is the player number (001, 002, 005, 016, etc)
  8. If any client players are associated: Send an email to Support with the filename and player name(s) Support will notify the client(s) and delete the Media file
  9. Once there are no Associations remaining, or at least none belong to clients, it is safe to delete the media file from the Media pool.
  10. Make a note in VTiger.
