🕘Scheduling media in a campaign
Playlists are best for general media, like you see in our Everwell playlists, a variety of interesting material that is more or less interchangeable with each other and does not matter much if your audience sees any particular piece or not.
Campaigns are best for material you definitely want your clients to see every time they visit, things like promotional material, announcements, celebrations, specials, policies, services, procedures, etc.
Anything that you would put in a printed sign and hang it up for all to see all the time.
Creating a campaign is easy:
From the Campaign tab just add the media you want to show and create a rule that specifies an end date (usually just change the end year to 2035), the zone (main or tower), and how often you want it to play (how many times per hour).
You can also restrict it to play only on certain players if you want (turn off the "All Players" slider and use the SELECT PLAYERS button to choose).
Open the Apps tab Click YouTube then click +ADD Copy YouTube link and Paste into App Copy YouTube title and paste into App title (optional) Turn off Controls and bump volume down a bit SAVE and CLOSE Open Media tab (optional) Find the file and click Manage to see that it is there.
