Configuring Social Media App Integrations
The Everwell portal can pull dynamic content directly from Facebook and Instagram using our built-in apps. This keeps your displays fresh with zero dual-entry.
Strict Meta API rules require that you use Instagram Professional (Business or Creator) accounts. Additionally, the Instagram account must be explicitly connected to a Facebook page.
Setup Instructions
Step 1: Verify Account Type
Ensure your Instagram account is registered as a "Professional" or "Business" account in the Instagram app settings and linked to your clinic's Facebook page.
Step 2: Access Social Connections
In the Everwell portal, click the profile menu (your name/email) in the top right corner and select Social Connections.
Step 3: Add the Connection
Click Add Connection and follow the Meta authorization prompts.
If a connection stops updating, return to the Social Connections menu, click Disconnect, and then re-add the account to refresh the security token.
Step 4: Configure the Media File
Navigate to the MEDIA tab, find the social media app file you created, click EDIT, and select the authorized account from the dropdown.
